Many can't talk

Many can't talk

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I should rephrase.
Many do not know how to talk to each other.
Casual conversation is becoming a lost art,
let alone ones which have meaning.
Grew up different.
Learned some of the vague social rules.
Talking was obviously not a problem.
Part of the reason I like to ramble.
The thing is it was not just holding a conversation.
You found out if you had a touch of empathy.
Were you able to feel.
Languages might be a hindrance,
but you worked a way around them.
You find a way to talk.
