Stories never end

Stories never end

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It is part of my nature.
Sneaking laughs,
 while trying to be serious.

I tell stories,
 or at least I try.

This leads to a problem.

When does it stop?

Personally,
 I ramble.
Some of you might have noticed.

Yes,
  I am making an assumption.
Honestly,
I think I should write gift cards.

Where was I?

I can tell a story,
 wait for it,
  you know this is coming,
but it is no longer my own.

When the words are heard,
 or seen,
   it changes.

The words become yours.

You are the story.

I agree my friend.
'The words become yours.
You are the story."
All of us have a story to tell. I wish the old-timers from WW2 and WW1 told their tales. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.

I agree my friend. Need more storytellers. I am a storyteller because my Grandfather was.

Never be afraid to tell a story Coyote. Jons or Johns are built for it.
