The story grows

The story grows

A Poem by Jon Roggie

While I know only a few are listening,
I still feel I must speak a few words.
For those who have been around for awhile,
you have had to endure my rambles concerning writing.

I know it is probably annoying.
  Random words,
    spoken with,
       at least I hope,
    a minimum of skill.

I started something.

I wrote a short work,
  one for my friend Ana.

It had touches from previous writes.

I turned into a storyteller.

Now,
I keep adding to the story.

I am trying to organize,
and make for an easier read,
but I just keep seeing various moments.

I write at the moment,
  hopefully catching typos.

When you see a moment,
  you can't let it escape.

I look at my story,
 and it keeps changing.

I can only try to share the words.

And that can be said for why most of us write Jon. My writing is most certainly broken fragments, of a picture too big to comprehend, written in the hope that one day, I shall make more sense of some f the bigger picture than can currently fit in my thoughts.
We can but hope.
