Serious?

Serious?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

The first thing to laugh at is yourself.
Decided to run with a lighter mood.
It does give others the chance to be rude.
Besides the serious books spend too much time on the shelf.
I apparently lack very much self-respect.
 Knowing my limited skills,
I admit some of my writes leave me feeling ill.
I wonder if it is a sign of mental neglect.
I still force myself to try.
I even occasionally catch the unwary.
The fact they continue to read is actually scary.
To say it isn't fun would be a lie.

I agree Jon.

Writing is effort and more effort. We are always learning. I liked your thoughts and your opinions.

I try to balance my writes. Once in awhile it is time to play.
Thank you.
