Thinking of Flutterby

Thinking of Flutterby

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

I miss you Serah

"
Being a tortoise,
  I sometimes retreat.
Resting in my shell.

I awoke,
and the Garden did not feel the same.

Missing my friends,
 I slowly started to search.

I was missing Flutterby,
  and Pixie arrived.

She gave me the news.

I never get to hear "Monsieur Tortoise" again.

I have my memories.

Walking through the Garden,
  Flutterby and Pixie,
     relaxing on my shell.

Strawberries.

They even painted my shell.

Flutterby still flies.

Now that I know who was this flutterbly, and how much she meant to you, i must say, she must have been a beautiful soul indeed. Way more beautiful than this write is, Jon.

Thankyou so much for sharing the love and the dedication for your friend. This piece is heartfelt, and packed with intense emotion.

I never met her. I never heard her voice. Still, we talked. We were friends.
