Sleep

Sleep

A Poem by Jon Roggie

We seem to meet less often.
Did I offend you,
or was it a feeling of becoming too close?
Either way,
 let me know my faults,
   and possibly make amends.
I miss you my friend.

Sleep is always affected by something going on in subconscious mind—- not nice when our minds cannot rest 🌹

I’m glad it meant something and it’s a pleasure🌹

The pleasure is mine. It gives me another excuse to ramble.

Lol...have fun🌹
I totally agree- rather be honest and open no matter what than to hide behind feelings and not speak the truth - then you know where you stand- sad when someone just disappears in silence- but they just keep themselves in bondage not being truthful to themselves or others.. great poem🌹

"Sleep"
Jon Roggie,
With something as important as rest,
when it is not forthcoming life can
become imbalanced. I can truly empathize
with your words in this poem.
"We seem to meet less often.
Did I offend you,
or was it a feeling of becoming to close?"
We want to be close, at ease, at rest
with ourselves and the ability to let
go of the daily concerns each night.
Blessings to you and peace my friend!
Kathy

Thank you.
I miss sleeping half the day away!

Jon
This has the feel of a mantra, said in blessing to the sleep deiity. I feel and share your pain Jon. The "Did I offend you" line made me smile, for being the words I wish I had said.
She can be such a cruel mistress.

If I can't sleep, I might as well find something to do.
