Listen to the quiet ones

Words spoken to themselves,

 waiting to be heard.

Now,

  please try to understand.

Sorry,

  I feel my words will be lost in the conversation.

Step to the side.

Passive listening is not enough.

Obviously,

 this could be seem directed to current events.

In a round-about way it is.

I prefer to look on the lighter side,

 and  hear a voice.

Maybe,

 in my simplistic way,

  it is all that is needed.
