We all have a voice

We all have a voice

A Poem by Jon Roggie

If I only listened to my own words,
they would always sound the same.

Ponderous statement made,
 I will move along.

Speak in your voice.
 Let it be real.

Let the words flow,
 showing part of you.

Remember,
 I am a hack.
I play with words,
 stumbling upon a clever phrase.

I still have a voice.

I can very much relate to this. We always have our words. The ones we will write and the history of our past thoughts and situations. We all have our pre written biography.

Mine seems to keep changing. Now, I am apparently part Scottish. Fun looking up your family tree.
You are right my friend. Everyone had a voice. Few speak real words and the truth. Thank you Jon for sharing your worthwhile words and poetry. Always good to read your words and thoughts.
