Am I a myth?

Am I a myth?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

It is my own fault.
The vampire bite left scars,
and of course a story left a mark.
The lightning shaped scar doesn't help.
I also need to quick picking up pans.
It is not my fault if you need an oven-mitt.
I have even been mistaken for Joseph of Arimathea.
Long story.
Latest is new.
Niece has a boyfriend.
Siblings have seen me,
 and only at a glance.
Refer to me as Dark Santa.
Now,
 I seem to be Krampus.

No. not a myth, just a legend :)
Perhaps when all of peoples perceptions of us are added together, the results would show how little was known of us all along.
People see fragments of us, so perhaps we are all myth after all.
Really enjoyed this.

This might be a little too sketchy for me to follow, but I always enjoy poetry that's super original & unlike anything else I've ever read! I love the specifics you've chosen to share, which paints vivid glimpses of a life I'm not at all familiar with, but it sounds interesting! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The story is only what we choose to share. Might as well make it fun!
