Conversational Themes

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I have a confession to make.

I am not being true to you.
With each word I write,
I am usually holding two or three conversations.
They do add to the mix,
and how am I do deny the influence?
Promiscuity adds to the flavor,
 but still,
   if you pay attention,
a few words were meant for you.

You do mind your readers! Hope those words that are ment for your readers are sweet words that they inspire them in return.

and that is why we get different ideas from poems than others might get...because we have our own conversations with them.
