Silent night

Silent night

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Amidst the sounds of joy,
 I sit silent.

Not in a moment of sadness,
 more a time of contemplation.

Turning the pages of a book of memories.

Soon,
I will return to the festivities,
but now I sit for a little longer.

Visiting with old friends.

I like the silent sometimes. Quiet places allow the mind to gather and think. I liked the places and the thoughts in the poem. Thank you Jon for sharing the amazing poetry.

I might be an introvert, but I still try to talk. Well, maybe.

I have few quiet moments. I use to noise now.
