I lose focus

I lose focus

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Normally,
 I would leave it.
No explanation needed,
  well,
    not for me.

To be honest,
 I don't lose focus.
It is more a matter of choice.
On what do I need to focus?

You do have to eventually set your priorities.

What you set aside is still lingering,
  adding to the ongoing distraction,
while you deal with more pressing details.

I just change which one,
  at least for a moment.
