Big sloppy kiss

Big sloppy kiss

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

A certain cougar brought this topic up.

"
I will speak out,
and this is in defense of the young,
how are we supposed to know how to kiss?

We should realize it is a case of trial and error.

Some expect a different approach.

Personally,
I like looking into the eyes,
   following with a gentle touch.
Catching the eyes,
 maybe a smile.

Now,
 as we grow older,
the slobber factor should be noticed.
Not like we are teenagers.

For the teenagers reading,
the adults are still learning how to kiss.
Don't rush it.

I laughed. This is funny! It's a refreshing change to most emotional poetry. The world needs more of this.

Part of the fun. You can feel free to blame me!

I blame you for making me read something that put a smile on my face for the night!

Part of my nature. I am a jester. Worth it to bring a smile.
