After a year

After a year

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I wonder where your ashes have reached.
 Scattered on the water.
   Current carrying.

Soul has traveled farther.
  Freed to wander.

Made me smile. Sad but beautiful

Posted 7 Years Ago

there is no limit to where the soul can travel...
but if the heart can't go with it...there is death of emotion...and scattered ashes.
i have dreams of Tickle Naked Pond in Vermont...and the wish that my ashes be scattered there.
i felt this poem deeply...Vermont was and is my favorite place.

Deep thought. It captures the longing heart feels.
