Walking beneath petals falling

Walking beneath petals falling

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Each step takes a moment.
  I move a bit slow.

Life in the Garden.

Oranges, and lemons are growing.
 Roses going dormant.

Baby toads hopping,
and I hope they survive the winter.

Slowing down myself.
Time for a few months of quiet.

Covered by the petals.
