Tub of Ice Part V

Tub of Ice Part V

A Story by Jon Roggie

Time to gather up my charge,
 and make an honest attempt.

"Fesili.  Time to walk."

"I was going to help make muffins."

Now,
 to be honest,
most of us can't help ourselves.
We love to cook.

"Ladies may I ask you for another chance?
  She obviously wants to try,
   but today we must wander."

Hiding smiles behind stern looks only shows their approval.

"We walk, and only one cookie."

By the way,
Fesili has learned how to pout.

Precious.

"Where are we going?"

That's the spirit.

"I want to show you a story."

She looks confused.

"How can you show me a story,
  while we walk?"

"Walking gives you a chance to see,
  and ask."

She follows along,
  munching on her cookie.

Finally,
she asks where we are going.

No, I am not putting the question in quotes.

"Welcome to Cologne."

Fesili is indeed precious. Pouting quickly put away when her spirit overcomes and compels her to ask "Where are we going?"
This is intriguing - each part propelling the reader to the next. Cool.
