Honest statement

Honest statement

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I struggle to say anything.
  Words seem meaningless.

They are not yours.

The emotions are different.

You only feel a touch.

Sometimes it's hard to know how to hear, but the act of listening is powerful and important.

Indeed it is. Too many are waiting to hear their voice, missing what is being said.

Powerful statement in such a short piece Jon. Reminds me of the difference between listening to someone and waiting for them to stop talking so the other can start.

The art of listening seems to be at a low. We don't always have to talk. Thank you.
