If I grow silent

If I grow silent

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Simple explanation.
I can only type for awhile.
Thirty years of using a knife does some damage.
Do I want to stop?
Are you kidding me!
I will rest.
I write,
  and cook.
Each when I am able.
Fingers are not as nimble,
 but still manage.
I merely choose the times.

A good philosophy to have Jon. Writers are used to being patient at times, waiting for inspiration of some kind, so we adapt and wait, much like waiting for the dexterity to return. And like all good things, they are still worth the wait.
Hoping for more days able for you and the inspiration too, of course :)
