Breath in a frozen morningA Poem by Jon Roggie
It has been a long night.
The child has been tucked in bed, and seems to be sleeping peacefully. She could be faking, but if so, seems to give her a moment of happiness. I should try and get a few hours myself, but I am in a thoughtful mood. So many reminders... Our decisions swirl like a breath. With a sad smile, and a yawn, I let out a deep breath, and watch it flow.
