Pain is only a distraction

It slows you down,

 and might cause a lack of focus.

Now,

 to be honest,

  I could be bitter.

I choose to move past it.

While I type,

  I barely feel my hands.

Numb right up to the elbows.

Something I have learned.

You can give in to pain,

 or find a way.
