Easy to fade into the background.

letting the words slip away.

Stories can be told by another.

They grow tiring.

Each taking a piece,

leaving more emptiness.

Leaving a hollow shell.

Still,

stories must be told.

Taking a piece and adding another....

You realize I will be able to play with this for a long time.

I turned being the tortoise into a full time job.
