Stand up piano

Stand up piano

A Poem by Jon Roggie

If you are a teenager,
a piano can be your friend.

Don't worry.
Most of your parents are not reading.

Of course,
 they might be,
 and you could be surprised.

Perfect hiding spot.
Four inch shelf.
Only one who would go there is going to tune the piano.

How many people get their piano tuned?

So.
  Kids, and parents.

Who gets there first?

Memories. The piano is still in the family.
