Shut down

Shut down

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Different versions.
For me,
I am finding it harder to talk.
I realize many might take it for a blessing,
but I realize it is a regression.
The odd part of it is I have not spent enough time alone.
Thinking is easier in the quiet.
The longer in crowds,
 I feel more silent.
I fear I might lose my voice

Would be a shame to lose this voice.

Even though I like the silence, I seem to like to talk.
I like silence. I rarely know in my life now. I liked the honest thoughts and needs in the poetry. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.

I try to find the silence, even if it is only in a drive.

Late at night. My house is quiet. My reading and writing time.
