A Poem by Jon Roggie

I hate this,
but it is needed.

It feels so cold.

I might be able to bring peace.

One single moment used,
and it has to be rubbed into both of their faces.

This is the reality.
No time for petty disagreements.

Turning away will only leave regrets.

This is our mother.

You chose me for this.

I am only left the freezing steel.

Simple form with a lot of meaning and emotion behind it, really nice poem. Well written, well done.

It comes down to pride. Sometimes, I want to be Moe, slapping Larry and Curly upside the head.

I grew up watching the three of them, and I was remiss mentioning Shemp.
