Drift away

Drift away

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Finally, a missing part is noticed.
Used to the occasional silence,
 but this feels different.
I wonder who left first.
What did I miss,
and was there something you tried to tell me?
Feeling empty,
 and still more drifts away.
