Laugh you lazy b******s

Laugh you lazy b******s

A Poem by Jon Roggie

We can get pissed.
We also forget.
I barely remember why....
  oh,
I was in the middle of a rant.
A laugh can turn brittle,
 all in the joke.
Suddenly,
  the joy is sucked away.
Screw that.
I want tears dripping from your eyes.
I want tears of joy.
Not being a comedian,
 I can only try.
I have two stories.
the first is a bit harsh.
Part of living in close.
echo carries.
You want to go to sleep.
"I'm not laughing"
You understand the breakdown,
but will you please let me go to sleep?
Next day,
 you look at another roommate
Both of you say at the same moment,
Do I have to say it?
The "Oh, Daddy!" will not be be described.
Might have been scarred with that one.
