Would you know?

Would you know?

A Poem by Jon Roggie

The grand gestures are often left on the stage,
while the changes are made behind the curtains.

How are you supposed to see the difference?

So many deals made in a backroom,
 still denied in public.

Isn't this how the world seems to work?

Nothing new,
 but it is discouraging.

More work goes into manipulation,
 than finding a solution.

Going back to the first question,
if you had a chance to make a change,
   would you know?
