Understanding Americans.

Understanding Americans.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

We can be a******s.
Normally, we don't do anything.
Most of us want to be left alone.
The problem is we get pissed.
If we turn a football game into a national holiday,
do you realize what happens if anything gets serious?
We are a mix of so many cultures,
and normally this is a good thing.
Still, we are extremely dysfunctional.
We are still trying.

Oh, I don't think this is limited to Americans. We all, in the Western World, are struggling with our own demons. Americans just tend to be a little more inward looking. Case in point ...:)

Well, time will tell.
and we are getting dysfunctional-er each day...

wish the mix would mix more genially ....

So do I. Life would be more pleasant.
