You still have more stories

You still have more stories

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Remember the girl tugging on my shirt sleeve?
Smile.
I have a lot of stories.
You do know the chameleon?
Little guy.
Picked on.
Learned how to vanish.
He realized he could do so much more.
He learned how to match the beauty around him.
Want to change our colors?

Matching the beauty around us -- for me, this is about getting out of a funk because it's the right thing to do for the loved ones around us.

In a way, but these are also fun writes.
'Learned how to match the beauty around him...' meaning he had to learn to see it first.

I love the reframing of wanting to be invisible.

It is easy to become invisible. Finding a way of achieving beauty takes a bit of effort.
