Hard read

Would you put down the words?

Reading "The Executioner's Song".

Norman Mailer is the author.

I honestly don't know what to think.

There are moments which shine through,

and give you a glimmer of what was happening.

Feels like it is darkening my soul,

and I wonder if the author was trying.

Still, I will finish.

Knowing the outcome.

Another lesson.
