Four and a half minutes

Four and a half minutes

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Not much a margin of error,
especially if I want to make a point.

Let yourself give in,
and wither away.

Try and help,
and grow like a vine.

Give of yourself,
fruit for the needy.
Wine for the thirsty.

Use this as a test.
Make sure I still feel.

Like the Stones say,
"it's just a kiss away."

Seems so easy to think it is simple to make a point in such a short space of time, but with time limits, it would probably end up not being the point intended...At least in my case anyway. I'd need a double album worth of time for that I think :)
Love the "fruit for the needy, wine for the thirsty" Superb.

I do this, now and again. A new write, compressed by a song. Honestly, all an improv.
