Tangerines in December

Tangerines in December

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I use a picker,
one able to reach across the fence.
House is empty,
and the fruit is going to waste.
Wait until after the cold.
Let them rest.
Tangerines are always sweeter after a freezing night.
