Walking in the rain

Walking in the rain

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I smile.
Turn my head up.
Let the drops hit my face.

The constant patter is a reminder.

Knowing the feel of the rain.

Arm slips along.

I smile.
Finally here.
Kiss.

Beautifully captured Jon, in so few words. How some things like rain can bring frowns to some and smiles to others.

Some moments bring back wonderful memories. Here the patter of rain is a reminder.
Just facing skyward and letting the raindrops kiss your face is a wonderful feeling in itself..... but when it brings back memories......It can be awesome.

the kiss of the rain...finally here...the kiss from her...finally here...i am drenched in a feeling of passion...it lingers...and the puddles afterward, i want to splash in with reckless abandon.
