How I write

How I write

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I have been asked how I write.
What is the process.

I don't know if there is a process.

Yes,
I realize there is something going on,
hovering in the lump called a brain.

I think there is more.

It is what you see, hear, experience.

All of it turns into a story.

I notice the simple things,
and away I go.

Apparently,
I notice the world around me.

Sidenote.
Collaborations are talking with friends.
Words match.
Poets get to play.

as poets...we notice, we write...it just comes on its own...we are the instruments
with which the words find their way.

I like that. Thank you, sir.
I enjoyed this poem.
"I notice the simple things,
and away I go."
The above lines is true for the most of us. What we see and do is our reasons to write. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.
