Never at the proper momentA Poem by Jon Roggie
From the start,
I will try to stick to honesty. This is not the time. I don't give a damn about who did the other wrong. The chances have built up for over fifty years. What I do care about is the moment. It takes a death to bring it all to a head. Worse, you both decided on our father's. Plus, you both managed to do it twice, and it feels like even more. You can't even agree on a simple saying of goodbye. At a time, one where we should be close, all I see is the distance growing. I cry with my father.
