Three faces

Three faces

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Step on the stage.
Show a part of yourself.

Takes a touch more.

Face they want to know,
and only one meant to be seen.

Afterwards,
quiet with those around,
peaceful.

Then your face becomes so quiet.

The many faces and masks we wear in this walk through life are many and sometimes a required necessity, just as long as we remember which one is really us. I like how you capture so much in so few words Jon, a rare talent today.

You can't always show how you feel. Thank you.
