Here I go again

Here I go again

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Yes.
Time for another of those writes.

Those who have put up with me know this will happen.

I am still trying to understand writing.

Each time there is another little detail,
and to be honest,
I love it!

How do you write with another?
I still don't like the word collaborate.
Something with all of the history.

Anyway.

Finding common ground between words.

It is easy to try to force the pieces together.

The problem is it becomes obvious.

The words should flow together.
Each line has a touch of the author,
but somehow the voices all sound the same.

Easy.

Would you like a cup of coffee? (Please don't kill me)

Lol. :-)
That was funny.
This is awesome. With you, collabs are easy. But not with everyone. I think I worked on a couple of them for more than a week each. Not like with you and Papaya, or Einstein Noodle, or NoelHC. Some people just click.

A big part is leaving the ego at the door.

Now that makes sense. I never have an ego about poetry. Until it's done, at least.
Easy, hey? You approach this with an interesting mix of concrete learning and art.

The hardest part is attempting to try. If it goes down in flames, try again.
