Across the world

Across the world

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Easy to focus on the pain,
and to be honest,
the easiest term is "evil".

There is so much more.

So many things not in front of a camera,
never told.

Why?

It wasn't why it was done.

An average person can make a difference.

They can help next door,
or thousands of miles away.

All without notice.

I know people like this.
They grow older,
and still they find ways to help.

There was no need for recognition.
There was only a need to try.

Wonder how many are trying?
How many we never see?

Nice poem, btw.
