Like an old coat

Like an old coat

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

"
It follows you
adding to every step

Maybe you notice in passing,
but it is always there

You can't escape the past

You move past it

Denying the past is futile

Make peace with mistakes,
even those you are unable to correct

Follow something new

Walk into the future

The video unfortunately was unavailable but the poem is full of strong sentiment and great wisdom:)

I am terrible with adding videos, but at least the words worked ;)
Moving on to something new... and letting go...
on a new path... Wiser and knowing true kindness
to share with others. truly, Pat

Making peace with the old mistakes is the hardest part. A great little piece you have here.

Just words I have heard in many different versions.
Just hang it up, like an old coat...

Some you hang up, and others you keep letting the smell sink in.
