Just a pepsi

Just a pepsi

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

First credit is to a band called Suicidal Tendencies. Second goes PepsiCo? Just don't sue me.

"
I hate to say it,
but it is an older song at this point of time.
I will let you search for it.
I already gave a few clues.

Also,
I know some of you are already repeating the lyrics.

Now,
how do I turn this into any kind of meaningful write?

Those who know the song are wondering the same thing.

"Just one Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me!"

I think that is how it goes.

Now, for those who listened to the song.
We know what is going on.
Picturing the moment,
wanting to be left alone.
Trying to meet expectations.
Finding a way to blend in.
Feeling it won't work.

For those who haven't heard it.
By the oddest chance it just started to play.

You still have to find it yourself.

This is still a protest against expected values.

I just don't feel I can do it justice.

I must find the song. But as you've described, we know what is going on.

The song is called "Institutionalized". I guess the band falls into the skater/punk type of music. .. read more
