Find the inspirationA Poem by Jon Roggie
Easy to just sit there.
Case in point, what do you think I am doing now? What else have I managed to accomplish today? Nothing special. I cooked for my family, so they weren't eating something out of a box. Bit of yardwork, bit of cleanup. Little bit of hunting for groceries. Something most of us do. Throw in talking to a 14 year old niece, who to be blatantly honest, was abandoned by her parents. She has learned to ask me almost anything. Found a bit of time for one of these scribbles. Found something worth writing about. This? It is only a partial description of the day. Inspiration? Remember the niece? She talks to me. She feels free to ask questions. It has taken two years, and she has even asked if anything were to happen, would I be the one to take care of her. She didn't ask me, but you might see the point.
