Time to be lazy

Time to be lazy

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Just to be honest,
I am probably a caregiver.

I help my mom,
and help her with my 14 year old niece.

Mom was raising her since she was two.

She turns 75 in a couple of months.

What does this have to do with the title?

Nothing.

I have said I tend to ramble.

This is about dinner.

By being lazy,
it means I only have to prepare the vegetables.

Going to use some frozen dishes for the entree.

All I have to do is manage to cut up a few vegetables,
and do a quick stir fry.

Also try not to cut myself in the process.

It is a daunting task,
but at least it is only for three.

900 got to be a bit of a pain.

Life take us where we need to be. I believe we return the love we were given. I like the simple thoughts and life process discussed in the words. Thank you Jon for sharing the excellent poetry.
