Calming voice

Calming voice

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Speaking in anger
will only carry the mood along

How can you be calm?

Question for you
Question for me

For me,
I look at the past

This has happened before
It will happen again

Anger only adds to anger

How can I be calm?

You don't see it.

I am full of rage
This is not what we are meant to be
We are not supposed to be crushed so simply

I recognize the feeling
Part of nature

Nothing to be ignored

This is why I try to be calm

Letting go only adds to the problem

A quiet voice might help

Sharing tears of frustration...

Anger accomplishes nothing. Hard not to lose your cool sometimes but you've got to pick your battles. I don't believe in this eye for an eye BS. Someone has got to be the bigger person...

I don't seem to quit being serious, can I?

It's not for me to say. However, at least you're consistent and not moody like some people.

I think I keep trying to learn, and love a sense of humor.
