Too long silent

Too long silent

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Even now,
 I see the futility.

What is wrong with us?

Always looking for a reason,
and it doesn't have to be real.

Some simple excuse,
  and off we go.

The results keep building.

No way to really see who was at fault.

Too many randoms.

I try to be an innocent.

By that,
I mean we don't have to.

Simple concept.

Just get along.

Tired of quietly shaking my head.
