I don't like the feeling

I don't like the feeling

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I don't know how many see it.
The same old trap.
Starting to look for the scapegoat.
Another step.
Quicker this time around,
hard not to notice with 24/7 coverage.
The feeling is there.
No one is stepping forward.
Petty disputes distract from what should be seen.
I feel like an empty voice.
Echoes for sense,
  only heard in the wilderness.

The Dallas situation. Another sad day for the USA. I been to Dallas often. Kind people and polite. When will the madness stop? I wish I had a answer.

This wasn't supposed to be for Dallas, but now it will be. I didn't know about it.
24/7 coverage...
Are you watching what I'm watching?
Yeah, I don't like the feeling either.

I hadn't seen it. This is tearing me apart.
