Only so many repetitions

Only so many repetitions

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I just can't talk about it anymore.
I am not meaning to be rude,
  but I can't.
You just have to stop.
Someone brings it up,

Need to let it go.
Only way,
  only way to heal.
Already in your head,
 and don't need another reminder.
Nod,
  and walk away.
For me,
this is not a simple conversation.
Certainly not a simple repetition.

Two sides to this. You can't give it the space, but sometimes you have to let it out.

I agree. I feel it needs to be in your own way.
Yup, that's very true Jon.

Simple thoughts, but easy to understand.
Somethings are better to be forgotten. The more they are brought up in conversation, the harder it gets to forget them.
I can certainly relate to what you are going through.
No need to repeat it over and over again.
Nicely written.
