You gave me a chance to see

You gave me a chance to see

A Poem by Jon Roggie

These are not my eyes.
I don't recognize any of it.
I can only watch.
Memories passed along,
and at least they give a bit of context.
Watch for awhile,
  and see what wasn't there.
I don't think I could understand,
at least without this shared view.
I reach forward,
crying for something I want to see.

Sometimes you need another person's perspective in order to see.

I admit it. I was reaching on this one.
I think the wanting to see and understand is important, even if you never will it shows your openness and willingness.

All about trying to see through another person's eyes. Exercise in process.

Well, excercise makes perfect. Keep up the good work. :)
