Just a wander

Just a wander

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I don't know if I could return.
There are already so many places I want to revisit.
Each destination,
  will increase the delay.
A day's stop will turn into a week.
You have to get to know the locals.
A day at the beach,
now that could turn into a month.
Hike into a canyon,
  and I might get lazy,
    long as the food lasts.
Flashing by for a moment,
 honestly,
    not very satisfying.

I want to see it all.

This reminds me of my early 20's when I took off to explore.
I got attached to people and it was hard to move on.
I love food and music and the world has so much variety!

There are so many areas to explore, but, sadly, the expense account will not cover it.
