Back to music

A Poem by Jon Roggie

For those who have put up with me,
  yes, here I go again.
It is all about telling a story.
The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Gordon Lightfoot wrote a story.
For those unfamiliar,
  look it up.
This goes back to how you write.
You learn a rhythm.
Don't force it.
Let it flow.

I love this. Let it flow, unforced. There are those who believe in re-editing a million times. I am pretty sure you are similar to me -- most poems are the only draft, with the occasional re-edit for a typo.

Nice catch. One of these days I will stop using first drafts!
