When you are the Trickster

When you are the Trickster

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Trust me.
   Not an easy job.

I get to read Christmas Story,
  while the grandparents watch.

Who do they look at with a question?

Then,
  you are going,
     "No!"

"I was joking!"

Ah, a little snippet of the mischievous boy. P.S., in the case, grandparents should not have an apostrophe. So grateful the concussion did not take my ability to spot errant apostrophes away. Now if only I could remember them without having to go back three times to figure out where it was.:)

You realize I am restraining from a whole lot of apostrophes. Feel better.
